Today is Saturday. My friend recently got a driver license, so I want to go for a drive with my friend. When I told my friend that I’m wondering if I should get a driver license, I was told I shouldn’t drive because it’s dangerous!! . . . or was told "you shouldn't drive / / /."
The next to last sentence in your original is not a sentence by itself. I has to be combined with another clause to be a sentence.

Today is Saturday. My friend recently got a driver's license. So, I want to go for a ride with him/her. I asked my friend if I should get a driver's license, but he/she said that I shouldn’t drive because it’s dangerous. Replace he/she respectively depending on what gender your friend is.
