"What's the salary range for this position?" Or
"What's the salary bracket for this position?"?

'range' is correct.
There is such a thing as salary or more typically income bracket, but that is used to define a range that has meaning for some other purpose.
In the under $40,000/year income bracket, families are entitled to certain benefits.
The income tax you pay depends on the salary bracket you're in.
