Hey Love, what i can advise is lower your prices for your lessons kancane, then as soon as you start building up a good student base then you can start raising them :)

It can take a while, and perhaps so you should try looking at the teacher forums rather than asking the question here. Do you offer trial lessons? (I found doing this at minimum cost of $1 was a good way for students to see if they wanted further lessons. It's not possible to do this for free afaik) You could have another look at your profile. There are some spelling mistakes and wrong words ("collage" instead of"college"). I imagine it's just typos.. easily done. I am not sure if potential students would spot these. I note you seem to be aiming to offer lessons for kids. I thought you had to be over 18 to use italki, but maybe that's changed?

I understand the struggle haha it took me a week before I received my first request 😞 I looked at your profile and it seemed fine, maybe you could add subtitles to your video, I think they help people who are not as familiar with the language, but in reality I think it’s all about preference.
