It’s drizzly today, neither humid nor hot. I am appreciating the coolness that accompanies the rain. Recently, I was assigned a writing prompt that required me to delve into the essence of autumn. Intellectually, I understood that it encompassed crunching leaves, withered plants, and the gentle, swirling gusts of autumn air. However, in my reality, nature mostly remains lush and green. I have never witnessed withering trees nor golden fields in real life, such sights are not commonplace. Here, It’s more like summer, summer, summer, and voila, a short month of pure moisture and cold, then boom, summer again.
