Hello, I interpreted this passage to mean that the first part of the sentence CAUSES the second part. So, I would say:
1. First, our school gives us homework, which makes us feel tired.
2. Then, we have tests, which make us feel scared.
3. Next, we study a lot, which sometimes makes us feel sad.
4. Finally, we feel happy after exams.
