How best to say “thank you for asking” in Spanish. Example: a concerned friend emailed to ask if my family was safe after recent hurricane.
In English, I’d respond “thank your for asking” or “thank you for thinking to ask”.
In Spanish, is “haber” needed? And as subjunctive?
“Gracias para me hayas preguntado”?

Hi Daren. Por vs para can be a bit tricky at first, but after ‘gracias’, you will always use POR. Gracias por preguntar.
