Commas usually never have spaces before them. The semicolon (;) is used because the clauses before and after it are both full sentences each (a semicolon acts like a period or full stop). The dates can also be written as "[day] of [month]". In your example, it might go like, "The departure day is the 24th of October, and the return date is the 29th of October." I capitalized "Four" and "Seasons" because "Four Seasons" is the name of a place (technical term: proper noun). Great job overall!
