Today is May 20th, in China we write this date as '5.20'.  I want to share something about '5.20' today. Actually, 5.20 used to be a normal day in the past, but some merchant made it a special day for their business purpose. To understand this , you need to know a little chinese. The pronunciation of '520' is quite similar as '我爱你’ which means ‘I love you’. So the merchant said that if you love somebody  you'd better buy her or him a gift to show your love! Yes, they made May 20th to anther valentine's day !

It’s an interesting topic! I knew that Qixi Festival is a traditional Chinese Valentine’s Day. Thanks for your sharing!
