I have a cough and sore throat, that's why I have a deep voice like a radio announcer. But, I feel better than I did a few days ago.

I have a cough and a sore throat, that's why my voice sounds deep like a radio
announcer, but I feel better now than I did a few days ago.
Or you could say "I have a cough and my throat is sore hence the deep voice like that of a radio announcer, but I'm doing better today than a few days ago."
