It’s drizzly today. Last night, Chloe invited me for a sleepover. From my parents’ point of view, it was more like a “drink-over” since they stayed up late drinking. Chloe’s dad is a police officer who loves sharing creepy true stories. We enjoy them, but sometimes they're scary. It makes me realize that a serial killer or kidnapper could look completely normal, and they commonly approach you acting like a nice folk. I need to stay alert around strangers. You can never be too careful!

This is a difficult one. We don’t really want to live in a world where we distrust everyone. But then we know there are some, very few, who might cause harm. My niece was almost taken by a notorious killer in England, just thinking about it upsets me.

“Folk” (plural) isn’t commonly used nowadays- “nice people” or “a nice person” sounds more natural. Good job!
