Why is the cigarette end called dog-end? I’ve found this strange word translating the song “Aqualong” and many others. If anyone is willing to share about this weird slang words i like.

Aqualung by Jethro Tull. A great album. Thick As A Brick is my favourite. I saw them play a few times, first time was in about 1984.
