Hi
Would you tell me if the phrase '' verbal stimulation'' means '' the act of encouraging of verbal language'' in this context?
Parenting styles aside, parental attention is important in the social development of children. Physical contact, verbal stimulation, and openness from parents and others all encourage intellectual growth.

Basically yes. The statement is equivalent to "physical and verbal interaction and openness ... encourage intellectual growth."

I could be completely wrong but, "verbal stimulation" here would simply mean to encourage their children through words like saying nice things or telling inspirational stories. I mean, it's the only thing that would make sense for me there.

Ma’am the ‘word’ stimulation means to ‘trigger an action/feeling’.
The context in which it has been used above doesn’t make sense.
