Acidic is the adjective form for acid when meaning a compound with a certain pH level. However, acid can also refer to the hallucinogenic drug, LSD. Only 'acid' and not 'acidic' would be used as an adjective for this usage: 'acid tab', 'acid queen', 'acid trip'.
