Dear native English speakers. The following are 6 sentences with which I want to express the same ideas, but I have no confidence to determine whether they are grammatically correct or whether they have the same meaning. 1. He was as worried as she was, and talking very fast. 2. He was as worried as she was, and he was as worried as she was, talking very fast. 3. He was as worried as she was, and that talking very fast. 4. He was as worried as she was, and talking very fast at that. 5. He was as worried as she was, —— talking very fast at that. Question: Which is grammatically correct? Do they all have the same meaning?

1 and 4 are both grammatically correct. 1 is similar to how someone would say it in a normal everyday conversation, and 4 is a more formal or "old" style. The meaning is similar, but I wouldn't necessarily say "at that" at the end of a sentence unless I was writing a novel or something. It's similar to saying "as well" so wouldn't really fit here. The rest have grammatical errors like repetition or improper punctuation.
