Hello Ryan "Same" means that two or more things are exactly the same. We use "identical" if two or more things are exactly the same. We use "similar" if two or more things are not entirely the same. So to answer your question- "same" and "identical" are synonyms. "Same" is commonly used. "Similar" is different. Hope this helps.

"similar" is less alike than "the same". "Identical" and "the same" are ... the same! They mean that every aspect of the item is the same. You might say that mother and daughter are "similar" in many ways, but two sisters are "identical" if you cannot tell them apart, as in "identical twins".

Hi Ryan! "Identical" - 100% same, not different. "Similar" - ~40-60% same. "same" - not different.
