Whai is the meaning of " i am due" ?
I have found using "i am due" by a few of my friends when they talked with other persons. A situation was like that- someone told my friend to play football but he said " i am due. i gotta go."
N.B. As far as i know
Due can represent those meaning in a sentence.
1. Expected
2. Appropriate
3. Suitable
4. Deserved
5. Remaining a work for doing

Well this expression can mean I am pregnant and about to give birth very soon. However as your friend is a man, this meaning of "I am due" is unlikely.... 😉
In the situation you give, someone would usually say: I am due (+somewhere). e.g. "I am due at work very soon" - meaning I must leave soon, to go to work. You might also add a time in this context: I'm due at the doctor's at 11 o'clock.
