I was watching a video about robot dolphins đŹ and how they can replace the real animals in aquarium and in this way avoid animals from being locked up.
You would think that those animals are being fed and they have medical treatment but maybe youâre kind of sugarcoating the fact that theyâre captive unable to live the wild life they deserve. These robots would be a solution to this, as technology improves you could build better dolphin animals run entirely on AI.
I remember itâs mentioned that, in the long run, the cost of keep an aquarium of actual dolphins would be more expensive than just buy a bunch of robot dolphins. That makes sense, you donât have to feed them, no special water treatment, no vets, although I bet isnât cheap to buy one of them and to keep an engineer team to their maintenance.
Iâm not so sure if I would take my daughter to that aquarium with only robots đ€.
