Some of the guys at my table told Albert he was full of baloney, but what he was saying made a lot of sense to me.
What does baloney mean?

In a literal sense "baloney" is sliced smoked sausage, but in this context it means nonsense and is a very common slang phrase

Yes to the others. Also, the proper spelling is Bologna, I believe (the city in Italy where the sausage originated).

To be full of baloney means that the person is lying or exagerating. Not simpling saying non-sense. A related phrase is "to be full of shit".
