Professional TeacherGreetings from İstanbul 🇹🇷
I wonder if you have a specific phrase or expression for the situations below :
▪️If two ladies wear the same dress for a party ,
▪️If a couple who broke up meet in a cafe,
▪️ If a team member meets one of his /her colleagues (They don't like each other) in the same hotel,
This is a unpleasant situation and we say,
"Pişti oldular."
In English, is there a special verb or phrase to tell this ?
Thank you in advance 🌸

COINCIDENCE means two things happening at the same time, but it's not negative. You could add another word for negative situations:
UNFORTUNATE/UNHAPPY/UNLUCKY/AWKWARD, ETC. COINCIDENCE

The right word is ‘awkward’.

How embarrassing! How awkward! What a bummer!
That's all that comes to mind at the moment.
