Professional TeacherHey everyone, I'd like to share a grammar tip :)
I've taught hundreds of students and I've noticed that basic prepositions such as in and on are difficult even for advanced students.
For example, some students say -on June I will go to university
This is not correct, you should say -in June I will go to university
But you might be wondering, why do we say -on June 15th I will go to university
So here is a little pointer to help.
-We use on for specific days and dates -on Monday, on Christmas day, on March 5th
-We use in for unspecific days, dates, and seasons -in September, in spring, in 2022
I hope this helps :)
If you want to know more about these tricky prepositions please book a trial lesson with me and I'd love to explain more, thanks :D
