One of my best friends said he is going to start his new business, and I said to him "I think if you succeed in your business, you should come up with some ideas in a way that be differenciated from the existed business."
I made this sentences to make sure the usage of "in a way".
Does it make sense?
If it doesn't, could you please correct me and explain it to me?
Thank you so much.

In your sentence, you are suggesting that the method he uses to come up with ideas should be different, not the ideas themselves.
This sounds better: "you should come up with some ideas that differentiate your business from existing ones".
