Hello! I wrote these sentences studing grammar today. Could you check if it is correct? This playground is used by children every day. My bike was stolen last month. But the police found it yesterday. The theater is being used all day long. I can't use my laptop. It is being repaired. Suzy was having a hair cut yesterday. The near road was getting dangerous, but the traffic lights decreased all accidents. Have you ever flight on a balloon? Why didn't you come to today class? Have you been sick? The movie theater had been closed last Monday for some fire test.

My answers are just an opinion and mostly based on what I would expect to hear from a native speaker rather than on grammar rules. to add to the other comments, when you say: "Suzy was having a hair cut yesterday" I would expect you to add something else like "when I called her" or "when her parents arrived" or "while I was shaving" or "at 09 o'clock" because otherwise you would have just said "Suzy had a haircut yesterday".

This playground is used by children daily. My bike got stolen last month, but the police retrieved it yesterday. I can't use my laptop right now, but it is getting repaired. Suzy had a new haircut yesterday. The road nearby has been unsafe for a while, but new traffic lights have decreased most of the accidents. Have you ever flown in a hot-air balloon? Why didn't you come to the class, today? Have you been sick or something? The movie theater was kept shut down last Monday for some fire drills.

Great use of the passive voice! Just a few points: -I would say "The movie theater was closed last Monday". We need to use the past simple because Monday is a finished/ concrete period of time in the past. -I would also write, "The nearby road". -Have you ever 'flown' in a balloon? (fly, flew, flown) -For "Why didn't you come to class to class today?", you could say, "are you sick?" (are you still sick now?) or "were you sick?" (at the time of the class) I hope that helps!

Some excellent use of the passive voice. Well done! It would be better to say "The road nearby was getting dangerous, but the traffic lights decreased the number of accidents", "Have you ever had a flight on a balloon?" "Why didn't you come to class today?" and "The movie theater was closed last Monday for some fire tests". Just so that you know, in the UK we don't say 'movie theater' - we say 'cinema'. We also spell the word 'theatre' differently. Victoria

Hello. I think it would be better if you change it like this. "Why didn't you come to today's class?"
