Which is grammatically correct and why?
1- She is married to a doctor.
2- She is married with a doctor.

"She is married to a doctor." = This is the correct form.

1 - she is married to a doctor. “To” is a preposition word. Marriage is an act that is committing two people together by a third person. If we were to translate this to future tense - “we are going to get married”. It wouldn’t be grammatically correct in English to say marry with, although I know in other languages, like Spanish, it proves to be otherwise.

People say married to someone. Married with sounds strange.
