🔹 porque (together, no accent)
👉 Used to give a reason
= because
No fui porque estaba cansado.
🔹 por qué (two words)
👉 Used in questions
= why
¿Por qué no viniste?
🔹 porqué (one word, with accent)
👉 It is a noun
= the reason
No entiendo el porqué de tu decisión.
🔹 por que (two words, no accent)
👉 Rare. It appears after verbs or expressions that need por + que
Esta es la razón por que luchamos.
🧠 Easy trick
If you can put “el” before it, it’s porqué.
👉 el porqué
⚠️ Common mistake
❌ No vine porqué estaba enfermo.
✅ No vine porque estaba enfermo.
Which sentence is correct?
No vine porqué estaba enfermo.
¿Porque no viniste?
No entiendo el porqué de tu decisión.
