plz help me with the sentence.
Sleep or sleep for?
Which sentence is correct?
"He sleeps for 5 hours a day."
"He sleeps 5 hours a day."
Shoud I add the "for" after the "sleep"?

It's correct either way. I prefer the second version (without "for").

That's a simple present tense, so no need writing "for". Just say he sleeps 5 hours a day.
