The Spring Festival is China’s most important traditional festival, usually in January or February. Families get together for a big dinner on New Year’s Eve. People clean their homes to sweep away bad luck and put up red couplets for good wishes. Kids wear new clothes and get red envelopes with money. We also set off fireworks and visit relatives. It’s a time to celebrate new beginnings and show love to family. Everyone hopes for a happy and lucky new year.
