Hi guys,
How to say “Турбаза” or “База отдыха” in English?
Google translate says I should use “camp site”. But I’m not sure. I’ve also found “recreation centre” and “holiday resort” options in the Internet.
I need to find a correct word for the following meaning:
The place outside a city, usually in a forest, where you can rent a house. Also you can rent a boat or a quad or bicycle or any other equipment.

Native English speaker here. There isn’t an EXACT word for that, you have to pick the word of phrase that works best. Based on your description I would use the word “resort” in the phrase. Perhaps, Lake Resort, Lakeside Resort or Camping Resort. Also, A Lodge or Wilderness Lodge. If it is in the mountains it could be a Mountain Resort.

This is a good question.
"Camp site" is not the phrase you want. That is more primitive (but fun!).
When we talk about a Турбаза, we would most likely say "a place where you can rent a cabin."
I know this is not very concise, xaxaxa.
A different word that may work for you is "a lodge."

I would call that a campsite, sometimes you have to bring your own tent/equipment but sometimes you can rent a cabin. If the main purpose is to rent outdoor equipment then maybe “recreation center” is better. Holiday resort sounds like a full service place on a tropical island.
