Speaking of holidays, there are a lot of holidays in my country. Today, I will introduce you a special holiday. It is the Qingming Festival. “Qing” means clean and "Ming" means bright in Chinese, these words represent the real feelings the weather gives us during the period around April. This year, the festival will be held on next week and we’ll have a three days’ vacation too! This festival is not a traditional festival full of joy because we usually cherish the memory of deceased relatives or friends on that day. So, we are a little bit sad during the holidays and the weather also reflects our mood. It changes from warm to chilly. It's also the best time to say goodbye to the cold season and get ready to welcome spring with its warm sunshine! A lot of poets wrote many great poems about the Qingming Festival. Some of them were sad and mourning their relatives or friends while others expressed joy and were looking forward to celebrating the coming thriving green world. As for me, I can't wait to enjoy the warm sunshine and breathe some fresh air. I really look forward to meeting a better version of myself during the spring of 2024!
