I am listening to an Arabic song by Nancy Ajram and a line in lyrics is وْ لَوُ كَانْ دَاهْ ذَنْبِي مَااتُوبَ عَنُّه I understand everything in it except دَاه and its meaning or grammatical role? Is it from a certain dialect and what is it trying to represent?

Hey Sohrab. “Da” ده in this sentence means “this”. It’s the Egyptian equivalent of the MSA هذا. The sentence means “if this were my fault, I wouldn’t repent.”
