The difference is more in feeling (connotation) than definition. Dazed is like shocked; your mind goes blank trying to understand. Dazed is often paired with confused ("dazed and confused") as a common saying or cliche. Stupified is like you are struck stupid or dumb ("dumb" meaning unable to talk) by what you experienced. In terms of usage, in most cases either word works just fine.
