Which is correct, "tuning in to someone's feelings" or "tuning into someone's feelings"?

Since you're using the phrasal verb "tune in", you should say "tuning in to..." if you really want to say it that way. But it might be better to say something like "understanding someone's feeling's" or "sympathizing with someone's feelings."
