🌍 Did you know that language is a mirror of culture?
In English, we say “break the ice” to describe starting a conversation with someone new. But in Chinese, you might hear “打破冷场” (dǎ pò lěng chǎng) — literally, break the cold atmosphere. Different words, same feeling!
Language and culture are always connected. That’s why learning a language also means understanding how people think, live, and connect with each other.
