I really hope that professionals can answer this question😭.
I want to know if the metric of this poem is trochaic trimeter(I know it is cactalectic foot)?
I will be very grateful for your help.

The first stanza is trochaic trimeter (3 normal trochees per line), but the other three are headless (catalectic) iambic trimeter (3 iambs per line, missing the first unstressed syllable of each line).

Hi, Feng! Thanks for this! I’m glad at least my second guess came near the specialist’s opinion! And he’s so right about the need to feel the beat. Metric analysis sucks all the fun out of poetry but I guess you have to do it sometime. How’s your project going? I hope well.
