The advantage of buying by installment is that it eases the financial pressure on us when buying something.
If we don’t have enough money to make a lump sum payment, we can choose to pay by installments. Second for
people who are not good at saving money, I think this is a good way to help
them use money in a better way(help them manage their money better). Third we can enjoy the product right away
rather than having to wait until we save enough money to buy it outright. In other words, we can get
instant satisfaction. The disadvantage of buying by installment is that it will increase our
desire sometimes because it is easy to buy things (increase our desire to buy things we really cannot afford). If we don’t consider our
ability to pay the installments, that will be a terrible thing as we will lose
our credit rating.
"Buy something outright" means to pay for it in full and own it. No borrowing, no installments.
