Do we say: "go inside the store" or "go into the store"? Which one is correct? Thank you :)

I went into the store to buy groceries. I went into the store to get out of the rain. I went inside to get out of the rain. With ‘go’, ‘in’ is often best by itself. We’re here. Let’s go in.
