Hello, please I need to know if this sentence correct, it's a thanks for an author for his book: "Just received it yesterday, so it’s officially here in London, i found myself relating to certain parts, thanks for showing your words the light and sharing that with us." I’m confused is it "showing", "shown", "sharing", or "shared" ?
Learn how to use quotation marks. Learn the difference between "its" and "it's".
The "sentence" is not a sentence. It is informal, stream of consciousness thinking. It is understandable. This is what it means:
"I just received it yesterday. It is finally here in London. I appreciated certain parts of it. Thanks for exposing your writing to the daylight (where it can be seen by other people). Thank you for sharing what you have written with us.
To use the other words, you would need to make changes:
"thanks for showing that to us"
"thanks for having shown that to us"
"thanks for sharing that with us"
"thanks for having shared that with us"
