It was overcast today. While browsing some videos, I came across a kind of fruit called a persimmon, which I initially confused with tomatoes. Surprisingly, I had never eaten one before. I quickly asked Mom if I could try it. Fortunately, they were sold on the shelf at the grocery store nearby. How did I miss an entire species of fruit my whole life? Well, it definitely didn't taste like a tomato, but it was incredibly sweet. It's amazing to discover something new that actually has been around all the time.
