How do you think how many diets end with gaining weight and eating disorders? LOTS OF. And it is not your fault: our body tend to resist weight loss due to survival instinct. Well, what should you do? It sounds banal, but your body knows better. The best any person can do is to find moral support and tune in to weight loss. Just understand that you do it for yourself. Not for boyfriend. Not for family. Not to shock everyone. Not to become similar to celebrities. YOU need it and YOU will achieve it. I have been having eating disorder since I was eleven. It's not romantic. It's not beautiful. I'm not skinny like k-pop idols. I look like absolutely ordinary person, but with killed nervous system and anxiety over every meal. When you want to starve yourself, just remember that you don't deserve it. Now repeat after me: YOU DON'T DESERVE IT. Now we can continue. The best method for you is an intuitive eating. It's not hard or expensive. The main principle is to listen what your body want and don't eat because of boredom or emotions. In my experience I will say that most of the food gets to our stomach as a "snack". "Well, I'm not hungry, but this chocolate looks so delicious". Solve that problem and you will see the results so soon.

Just understand that you do it for yourself. Not for your boyfriend, not for your family, not to impress anyone and not to become like celebrities. YOU need it and YOU will achieve it. Interesting fact is that many eating disorders are closely related to ocd (obsessive compulsive disorder). For my ocd, I found that cognitive behavioral therapy helps a ton. Also, for losing weight, eating lots of fiber such as beans and legumes can help by making you feel full and feeding your gut bacteria so that you can process nutrients better. Also, adding lots of vegetables and fruits.
