hi, what is the difference between "I like WATCHING movies" and " I like TO WATCH movies" ?

After the verb "like" there's no change in meaning whether you use the gerund (verb + -ing) or the infinitive (to + verb). But if the verb was "enjoy", you could only use the gerund.
