“It’s my friend’s birthday next week. I bought her a movie ticket. I want to make her happy.”
Use possessive ’s (friend’s) to show relationships, and pay attention to word order with indirect objects—“I bought her a ticket” is more natural than “I bought a ticket for her” in everyday English.
