What will you rewrite this sentence to?
【He died a hero's death.】
Mine is “His death symbolizes a hero's death”.
I am also questioning this usage of same source of object(not sure if I used the right term),could you give me some other examples? Many thanks🙏🏻

Your sentence is a little off as the original sentence says it was a hero's death not symbolic of a heroes death. Symbolism and reality are very different and usually symbols of any type of death will be objects or maybe phrases.
He died heroically

The sentence "He died a hero's death" is perfect; it does not need to be corrected. That is exactly the way we would say it.

The sentence means that the way he died was the same as the way heroes die, or that his death was such as to *make* him into a hero.
