What are your favorite video games for each console that has come out? For instance, when I played a lot of videos games as a teenager, I mostly played Nintendo64. For the N64, the best video games in my opinion were Goldeneye and Super Smash Bros. My friends and I would have sleepovers and play those games well into the night. I know the The Legend of Zelda was also immensely popular, but I never got the change to play it! For the original NES, how could anything top Super Mario Bros 3? For Sega Saturn, I really liked Virtua Fighter. For the oringal Sega, Sonic was great. Of course, Halo was groundbreaking for XBox. How about the more recent consoles? What are some of your favorite games for Wii, Xbox One, Playstation (any generation)?

I got the PS4 but the games bore me
I had a NES and a Sega Genesis when I was a kid and I have an Xbox now but I don´t get to play too often lately. The NES was definitely the console that gave me more hours of fun and among the games I loved were of course Mario Bros. 1,2 and 3 and Zelda. I also remember enjoying Mega Man, Contra (on the cooperative mode), Metroid, Ninja Gaiden, Doble Dragon and I think my favourite was Bionic Commando. I also enjoyed Golden Eye so much on a friend´s Nintendo 64 and on the Sega Genesis my favourite games were Phantasy Star II and Strider (I never got around to playing the Sonic the Hedgehog games.)
My first console was the Sega Mega Drive, I had a few games but can't remember what they were. I can remember playing Sonic when I was a kid so I think that was my favourite game for it.
For the Nintendo 64, Goldeneye was my hands-down favourite.
For the original Playstation I loved Driver, Metal Gear Solid, Crash Bandicoot, Rayman, Spyro, Fifa, the first GTAs, Resident Evil, Splinter cell, Hitman, Tekken 3 and there were more but I can't be bothered thinking of them now :D
PS2: Can't really remember this console with a lot of clarity, I think GTA 3, Tekken Tag, Pro Evo, Fifa etc Was the Scarface game for PS2, I loved it.
Xbox 360: COD4 probably my favourite game of all time if I'm judging by how much fun I had playing it. Me and my mates from school spent countless hours playing this game online. Halo 3 was unbelievable as well. Then GTA4, Hitman, Tiger Woods PGA Tour, Fight Night, Red Dead Redemption.
I used to play all the Need for Speed games as well.
As for the Xbox One and PS4 I've barely played them, COD's gone to the dogs.
