When people are talking, it is usual that to saying about your hobbies. This topic is really hard for me. When someone ask me what my hobby is, I always cannot think of any of them. I don't know is that because of I do not konw how to describe my hobbies or because of I truely do not know what my hobby is. Could anyone share your hobbies to me or help me to deal with my problem? Thanks.
Perhaps, these are my hobbies......1) go to bookstores, 2) watch TV, 3) eating and sleeping
Eating and sleeping are not hobbies they are necessities.
I would say that hobbies are reading, playing a musical instrument, sports, travel. Those are all good hobbies. Other people might include some arts, making things with your hands, knitting, cooking etc.
As for me, my hobbies are travel, learning about other cultures (that includes language) and music. How about you?
Native speakers don't normally list eating and sleeping as hobbiesas it makes us sounds fat and lazy! Chatting with friends, watching videos are fine hobbies. Asking about hobbies is more of a conversation starter.
As far as I'm concerned, traveling can be a prefered choice when I'm free.You know,you may enjoy the splendid scenery as well as encounter with some new friends when you take a long trip.Hobby,a usual topic people talking everyday,is not always abstract so you can find your own hobby in some details among the life.
