I think most people in the world already heard about Kimchi. But it is not a main dish. When we have a meal, we always eat it with rice or other main dishes. I recommend you eat Samgetang if you have a chance to come to Korea. It's not salty and spicy but delicious. Of course you can enjoy it with Kimchi. Sam is a Chinese character which means Jingseng. Ge is also a Chinese character which means chicken. And Tang means soup. You can call it Korean chicken soup. But we put a lot of ingredients in it such as Jingseng, chicken, rice, chest nut, pine net, jujube and so on. so it's very good for health. When we lose our stemina in summer, we eat it. So you can see a lot of people eating it if you visit Korea in summer.
In my country, Iran, there are many traditional food which I do not know some of their names in English. One of them is Kebab which there are diffrent kinds of it here. It is made from sheep's meat or randomly from beef. Almost everyone who tried, really liked it. I live in Qazvin, a city beside Tehran the capital of Iran, and every year many tourists visit my city. All of them without exception tried Kebabs. There is another delicious food which is special for my city named , Gheymeh Nesar. It contains from rice, meat, Pistachios slices, almonds slices, barberries and all the all the spices like salt, pepper, turmeric and so on. I wish you would try if you could visit here.
Don't Koreans have these foods they make with pork intestines ?
I heard Korean food has a very very strong smell. (Can't really say that since I come from land of Curry haha). Is this true?

You' right. We eat the food which is made of pork intestines. We call it Sundae. It's delicious. And I like Gintama so I watch it every Wednesday.
I have eaten Kebab twice. We think Kebab is Turkish food in Korea. Turks were selling two kinds of Kebab which were made of beef and mutton. Both of them were delicious.
