What would you do if your co-worker drank your milk from the fridge at work.

I bought one bottle of milk on my way to work and put it in the fridge where all of my co-workers keep their food. After maybe four hours I went to the kitchen to retrieve the milk, and to my horror I found out that a half of the bottle was empty. Someone had just drunk my milk without asking first. We have around 100 people who work here.

What whould you do if you were me?

2. Is it concidered a crime if I put some poison in a bottle of MY milk and someone takes my bottle?

Wow Romen, remind me not to drink from the bottle of milk you put in the fridge O_o

Is this stealing? Yes, I agree and it's totally wrong! But killing the person who drank from your bottle of milk??!

Just put an ad. on the fridge that says the room is being watched by a surveillent camera ;) That will do.

It's hard to know why the person did it, but no one deserves to die for drinking his colleague's bottle of milk!

Answering your question, If I was in your shoes, I would consider it a charity! I'll never know, maybe that person hardly walked to the fridge due to sudden illness and he/ she drank the first thing that he saw there. I don't know, maybe we're different here, but I used to put a bowl of sweets and salty crackers in my office for anyone to eat! I used to feel happy everytime I found it empty.

At least you could ask the managment at your work to send an email to everyone about this issue, and ask them to stick to their food in the fridge.

You're planning on putting poison in a drink in a public fridge, clearly with the intention of someone drinking it. Anyone could accidentally drink it, and there's no reason for anyone to believe they're stealing in the first place. It's like putting a landmine on your front lawn ten centimetres away from the footpath and saying, "Well if they weren't trespassing it wouldn't have been a problem".

Maybe he/she just mistakenly drank your milk, not on purperse. Because I did something like this once:P

I took a bottle of soda out of the fridge and had a sip, that's the moment I knew I made a mistake. There was another bottle in the fridge looked almost the same, and the one I was drinking wasn't the flavor I bought. That's really awkard... But I asked who the real owner was, and bought her a new one.

Maybe next time you can write your name on your food or drink when putting it in the fridge. And this time you can put a post-it on the fridge, like "Please don't do this again".

And, please don't put poison in your milk. It would really hurt somebody and it's a felony.

We had a really odd person working at my company who would work late and eat everyone else's food -- including a half eaten sandwich, salad, etc.

We set up a hidden camera to catch him and then fired him the next day.
