In Chinese, many verbs use a variety of nouns as objects. Certain verbs and their objects are often used together. These verbs are known as disyllabic verbs. Within the realm of disyllabic verbs, you can still insert certain elements between the two characters (noun and object). We call this type of disyllabic verb “separable verbs”.
