Ester, I live in London.

I will give some pointers.

1 Wonderful large, well-connected, multicultural, capital city with finance as one of its main sectors.

2 It has the oldest underground system in the world and sometimes it feels like it....lol

3 Double decker red buses, especially the new "Boris" bus, carrying passengers all around the city

4 Famous landmark and historical sites like Buckingham Palace, The Tower of London, The Houses Of Parliament, Trafalgar Square, Piccadilly Circus, Kensington Palace, Marble Arch, Whitehall, Pall Mall, Tower Bridge, St Pauls Cathedral and more

5 Famous shopping areas and shops like Bond Street, Oxford Street and Knightsbridge(for Harrods)

6 Numerous parks like Richmond,Regents and Hyde Park. Richmond Park is my favourite because it feels as if your in the countryside.

7 Like many cities, it has affluent and not so affluent areas. I'm not going to say any because I may get myself into trouble...lol!

8 Numerous Museums in South Kensington like The Science Museum or the National Gallery near Trafalgar Square

9 Leicester Square for nightlife and China Town. Oh and Camden Market.

10 The Thames

11 Theatre district near Aldwych

12 Numerous top universities like Imperial

13 The London Eye, which is a huge wheel near Westminister. You can ride it and see views of London.

14 Neasden Temple a Hindu temple in north west London.

Pollution can be bad. Rush hour like many cities can be awful. Of course there are the pubs. housing is very expensive to buy or to rent.

I will let others talk about traditions or other things.

If you want me to expand on any of the items, let me know. Good luck with your exam.

oh I forgot music venues like the O2, The Royal Albert Hall and more.

And how could I forget The Docklands(a financial district) and Greenwich(GMT) with the Cutty Sark and the old naval college, oh and of course The BBC near where I live.
