When you say "based on the season", do you mean Winter? I would classify these things as "Winter" foods: soup, tea, apple cider, hot chocolate, anything with peppermint, and anything with pumpkin. Holiday foods include: turkey, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, sweet potatoes, cranberry sauce, stuffing, and pie!

Thanksgiving- Turkey, ham, stuffing, sweet potato pie, mac & cheese, cornbread, collard greens, cranberry sauce, and potato salad.

Fall: pumpkin, squash

In November, for Thanksgiving: pretty much what Gabriela listed for holiday foods

Winter: peppermint (like candy canes) and hot chocolate (things that are warm), gingerbread

Christmas: eggnog

Spring: I don't think there are traditional spring foods, but I assume fruits are very popular this season

Summer: lemonade, ice cream, smoothies, anything that's cold
