My OCD and I.
Warning: don't continue listening to this if you think you may get my obsessions too.
Well, I have a very silly type of OCD. It prevents me from concentrating at many things. It becomes worse while reading, even worse while reading something I find critical or important to me. I work as a computer engineer and you can imagine what this means to me, reading a lot of code everyday. And yes, I see a psychologist (I have tried 4, so far). They prescribed different remedies. My case improved, but not so much. My whole country has only 500 psychologists, and I don't think most of them are very good, either. I am still suffering from it and sometimes it drives me crazy. I know I can seek help online, but this will cost me a lot, taking into account that I live in a poor country. I plan to travel abroad, and hope to get medical treatment there, but even applying abroad is a difficult task with my OCD. Does anyone here have a similar experience? What are your suggestions?

First I will comment on your writing.

Actually, your writing is very good.

Here are a few suggesitons:

- When we write and use an acronym such as 'OCD' the reader may not know what OCD means. So, before you use the acronym, any acronym, it will help the reader if you write the complete expression, "Obessive Compulsive Disorder", and then immediately show the reader the acronym, like this: Obessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD).

After you have written the complete name of the acronym followed by the acronym, you can use the acronym in the rest of the composition (because the reader will know what 'OCD' means)

- It prevents me from concentrating at on many things,

e.g., I need to concentrate on my studies (concentrate on something)

- reading a lot of code everyday every day...

everyday is an adjective that describes an activity, e.g. Reading code is an everyday duty/task related to your work/job.

You need to write: every day (similar to each day)

- My case improved... this is OK, but it would be better to say "My condition" because OCD is a condition.

if it is affecting concentrating it could be ADD which is treatable.

I recently saw a documentary about a young boy who had severe OCD, worse than yours.

He was treated by many doctors and there was no improvement in his condition.

Then his mother read an article about some research in OCD.

The new doctor discovered that the boy had a streptococcal infection, treated the boy with an antibiotic and his condition improved almost completely.

would ask your doctor to test you for "streptococcus bacterial infection".
