What do you think about feminism?

I am a feminist and I'm very proud of it, but I know people have different opinions about it, what's yours?Furthermore, what's the opinion about the women's role in your country?

I think feminism is okay when it does not turn into a radical feminism that does not look for equality and turns into a kind of machism.

Women should fight for their rights we are all humans after all.

I support feminism but I truly disgust feminazism and in our country, what I have seen so far is more hate speech and feminzism than feminism! But I know that there are great feminists here that really try to pass on the right message! ;)

Also, they say that the only time that sexual objectification(and many other things) is wrong is when it's done by men.

I'm not very fond of feminism, but that doesn't mean that I don't agree with how feminism is ran in your country. Here in America we have feminists who say that women cannot be sexist, and that it's okay to hate men. You have feminists who think it's fun to put the word "man" in front of words to demonize the entire male sex (mansplaining, manspreading, manterrupted, etc). The feminists here in America do not want equality. I've seen some of the things that the feminists in England do as well and they are just as hateful. I don't know anything about Brazil, but feminism here is misandry. My advice to you would be that if you ever come to the United States, don't call yourself a feminist because it makes you look bad.

Jeray, in Brazil, the feminist community is growing and much is discussed about sexual objectification and other kinds of prejudicial behavior done by women in relation to other women. I've seen some pretty awesome English and American women contribute to this fight, but I respect your opinion, just wanted to share mine about it.
